Pass It On

On Tuesday 3rd November, Study Support pupils from across the country participated in the 'Pass It On' Thousand day countdown to the 2012 Olympics.

Our Year 8 Study Support pupils were invited to the Walkers Stadium, home of Leicester City FC where they launched balloons representing the Olympic values from the pitch with the aid of Filbert Fox and some of the LCFC Academy players.

Watch the video of the launch here.

Bring a Grown-up to school

On Wednesday 4th November over 60 pupils from year 6 along with mums, dads, grandparents and carers took part in a 'Bring a Grown-up to school' evening.

The event was hosted by Mr. Cox and Mr. Lowe, ICT teachers at Bushloe.  The pupils and their parents created multi-media presentations based on the theme of 'moving to a new school'.

Great fun was had by all and the pupils really enjoyed teaching their parents some new ICT skills.

We will be posting some of the completed presentations here soon.
